Goa – Mumbai – Mahabaleshwar 7N/8D

Day  1 :  Arrive  in  Mumbai

Welcome to Mumbai, On arrival, you are met at the international airport /Railway station and transferred to your hotel. Mumbai is a city of dreams, Located on the edge of the Arabian Sea. Later in the evening you will be escorted to the attractive Elephanta Caves and beautiful Juhu Beach. Overnight stay in Mumbai.

Day  2 :   Mumbai

After enjoying an early breakfast, the tour begins by seeking lord’s blessings. Tourists mark a visit to the famous Sidhi VInayak Temple Jain temple, Muslim Tomb of Saint Haij Ali and Mahalaxmi Temple. Enjoy visiting the ancient monuments and the real heritage of the city. A drive up to the Malabar Hill, to the Hanging Gardens, gives a panoramic view of the city and the Queens Necklace – the Marine Drive.Visit the Victoria Terminus (now known as Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus) India’s finest Gothic building and a bustling Railway Station. Continue drive around the Horniman Circleand visit the Town Hall, right besides the docks. If you are lucky, you may sight a Bollywood celebrity.

Day  3 :  Mumbai  to  Goa

Post breakfast, you are transferred from your hotel to the airport/train  in time to Goa. On arrival, you are received at the airport /Train and transferred to your hotel.Take rest during afternoon and later in the evening, visit the Goa beaches. Goa is the most comprehensive beach resort in the country , some of the world’s most beautiful beaches including Calangute, Colva, Baga, Dona Paula and Bogmalo. Enjoy the delicious Goan food at buffet and relax during night in the hotel!

Day  4 :  North  Goa

After breakfast start driving towards North Goa. North Goa is dotted with some of the most beautiful beaches of Goa. Dona Paula, Calangute, Baga and Miramar Beach are popular beaches of North Goa. North Goa is home to a number of tourist attractions like Fort Aguada, Basilica of Bom Jesus and Se Cathedral.Spend the day sightseeing around North Goa. You can begin with a visit to “Cidade de Goa” . Also, visit churches of North Goa including St Cajetan, St Francis of Assisi, Se Cathedral and Church of St. Monica. Visit the Museum of Christian Art, which is one of its kind museum in Asia. You can also visit Archeological Museum. Later, travel to “Solar Souto Maior”, which is an aristocratic mansion which dates back to the year 1585. The mansion houses a treasure of artifacts. Return to Panjim, the capital of Goa and as you drive through the city enjoy viewing its unique colonial architecture. Enjoy your lunch at Panjim. Post lunch, head to Baga Beach, which is one the most popular, happening and beautiful beaches of Goa. Enjoy water sports and then you can go for some shopping at the Tibetan market.Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day  5 :  South  Goa

After  breakfast, head towards South Goa. you will be sightseeing at major attractions of South Goa including Colva Beach, Mangeshi Temple, Santa Durga Temple and some more attractions. Begin with a visit to Margao, the capital of Salcette taluka and headquarters of the South Goa district. Visit the historical “Largo de Igreja”, the Church square of Margao, which once used to be its colonial quarter. Later proceed to “Ancestral Goa”, which is a re-creation of Goan rural life. There is a laterite sculpture of Saint Mirabai in the village, which is one of the longest laterite sculptures in India. The star attraction of the region is the “big foot”, which is a large foot print which was discovered on a rock while excavating the site. Now it’s time to visit the grand house- Menezes Braganza house, in Chandor. The house has now been divided into two separate houses, with a common entrance. The east wing is occupied by the Pereira-Braganza family, which has a small chapel with relics of St. Francis Xavier. The west wing of the house belongs to the Menezes Braganza family. The house not only features exquisite furniture and Chinese porcelain from Macau, but also a collection of family portraits, There is also a library which is believed to be the first private library of Goa. After the long sightseeing tour of South Goa, head back to the hotel. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day   6  :   Goa   to  Mahabaleshwar

After breakfast drive to Mahabaleshwar (6.5 hrs). On arrival, check-in at the hotel. Later, we will visit the famous Mahabaleshwar Temple. Mahabaleshwar Temple is one of the famous Hindu temples devoted to Lord Shiva. Enjoy an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day   7  :   Mahabaleshwar  sightseeing

After breakfast, we will visit Veena Lake, Wilson Point and Water Fall. Veena Lake : It is a renowned lake of Mahabaleshwar famous for its sparkling water and abundance surroundings. Wilson Point : It is the most famous verdure surroundings out of 30 major lookout points of Mahabaleshwar, which offer scenic view of the whole landscape. Wilson point also known as the Sunrise Point is the highest point of the place. With three observation towers, it offers stunning views of the valleys below and entire area. Water Fall : Mahabaleshwar has several waterfalls flowing through the heart of the place. These bubbling waterfalls are most preferred sights among the tourists visiting Mahabaleshwar. Evening is free for leisure. An overnight stay at the hotel.

Day   8  :   Mahabaleshwar  departure

Pack your bags and collect all the amazing memories before our agent drops you at the railway station or airport. End of the tour.
